Working in the Archives

Workplaces are available for those planning to use the Archives for longer periods. However, due to increased demand, users who would like to reserve space must contact the Archives well in advance of their intended visit.

Since the Archives do not have fixed opening hours, users are asked to contact us to make an appointment for their visit.

Searches for some of the archival documents can be conducted by visitors at computer workstations in the Institute. Workplaces for visitors, Internet access, self-service copying, and a microfilm/microfiche reader-printer are also available.

The Archives database can be accessed via the Internet, allowing users to search all archival holdings recorded in the database from outside the Institute. Information on periodicals currently subscribed to by the Archives and Library is also provided on the Web as a periodical list and via the online catalog.

Use Regulations

Visitors must fill out an application for use before accessing the collections. In most cases documents will be provided within a few minutes after requests are submitted.
