Collections Related to Research Projects

Current holdings include documents (as copies) from German, British, Russian, and North and South American archives. Work in some projects has also entailed the acquisition of compilations of press clippings and other material on a variety of topics. Projects in the social sciences generate their own empirical data and collections of information sources such as interview transcripts and survey data, which are also archived.

Once a project is completed, these data sources are integrated into the Institute's Archives. They are provisionally processed with the help of finding aids. Limited parts of these collections are available for use by visitors to the Archives.

These collections occupy altogether about 250 meters of shelf space.
